In 21 BBY, this starfighter was piloted by Anakin Skywalker during the Cortosis Battle Droid threat. He flew it from Coruscant on a mission to Mos Espa on Tatooine. When Coruscant was then attacked, Anakin returned there in it. Soon afterward, he used the ship to travel to Metalorn to destroy the Cortosis Battle Droid factory.^[1]

He occasionally continued to use this ship up until the time of the kidnapping of Rotta the Huttlet. However, it was ultimately destroyed on Teth by Vulture droids.

[edit] Modifications

This ship is marked identically to the one that Obi-Wan used, making it possible that it was formerly the one used by his former master. Anakin possibly customized this spaceship by converting it into a two-seater model that allowed Wat Tambor to fly as a passenger back to Coruscant once the threat was dealt with. It was further customized by having the droid socket moved to the centerline of the fuselage to accommodate R2-D2.
