Warning: This infobox is missing the following parameters: otherlife Andando was the innermost planet of the Ando system, a star system[1] located within the Lambda sector[3] of the galaxy's Mid Rim[1] and the Slice region.[2] Ando's sister planet,[4] it orbited the star Ando and had no moons.[1] Andando was ravaged[4] in the aftermath of an Aqualish war[5][6] several decades after the species discovered space travel,[7] its surface blasted into uninhabitable[5] molten rock.[1]
Behind the scenes
Andando was first mentioned, albeit indirectly, in Galaxy Guide 4: Alien Races, a Star Wars Legends supplement written by Troy Denning for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game[8] and released on June 1, 1989.[9] It was first identified in "Ando: Planet of the Walrus Men," a "Planet Hoppers" article written by Cory J. Herndon for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game and published on July 3, 2003.[1] The Essential Atlas, a reference book written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace[10] and released on August 18, 2009,[11] placed the Ando system, and therefore Andando, in grid square Q-15.[10]
