Andasala was a mining world, located in the Andasala system near Svivren. The Gesenix Mining corporation based on Andasala was responsible for the establishment of settlements on the planet. During the early years of the New Republic, crime lord Valis Lorn's cartel controlled much of the crime on the planet, with the Devaronian criminal Sires Vant in charge of the money-lending. Its major news outlet was the Andasala Achievement News.
