A swarm of Andelm beetles
Andelm beetles were a species of beetle native to Andelm IV. Their larvae contained certain rare organics that could be used to power blasters.[1] Andelm beetles traveled in a swarm and were dangerous to sentient beings in large numbers.[2] Following the Battle of Yavin, the crime lord Jaum ran a mining operation at the Andelm beetle caverns. He used debtors as slaves to work his mines.[1]
