Andowyne was a Force-imbued planet located in the Kathol Rift.[1] It was the home planet of the Brownie, Daikini, Nelwyn[8][6][9] and possibly midi-chlorian life forms. The planet was forgotten for many years by the galaxy at large, but was later rediscovered by Jedi historians in the Jedi Archives.[1]
Behind the scenes
Edit
Andowyne was named in a series of databank entries published on April Fools Day 2006 by StarWars.com. The update page indicated that the Shadow War Chronicles novels would be republished as a Star Wars omnibus, and that the Willow continuity would be added to the Star Wars continuity. Two days later, a disclaimer was added to the update page revealing that the databank entries were a joke and that the novels were still non-canon.[1]
