Anduvil was a female Ogemite who worked with the Rebel Alliance as an intelligence operative.

On her homeworld of Ogem, very few females went into business as traders. However, when the plagues of Bledsoe's Disease began on her homeworld, her father was one of the first casualties. Anduvil was forced to take over the family business.

As the plagues grew worse, Anduvil left her homeworld to assist the Rebel Alliance in tracing the cause of the plagues, which had begun to spread to other worlds sympathetic to the Rebellion. She met Luke Skywalker on Tatooine, where an outbreak of Bledsoe's had just begun. They were eventually able to trace the outbreak to an unscheduled cargo container of squill that had been scavenged by Jawas.

After Skywalker contracted the disease from one of the squills, the group was ambushed by stormtroopers. Seeing that Skywalker had contracted the disease, the troopers brought him to the local Imperial base. There, the Imperial Doctor Kaaldar explained that the disease was being used by the Empire to root out and destroy Rebel Bases. Only with Anduvil's help was Skywalker able to escape with the counteractant.
