History
Edit
Discovered sometime after the Ruusan Reformation of the Galactic Republic, Anemcoro was colonized by the Ho'Din from Moltok. Caught up in the Clone Wars, the world was in space contested over by the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[2] After the rise of the Galactic Empire, the world suffered a war in 17 BBY with fighting erupting between two races from neighboring planets. A supposedly accidental Imperial turbolaser attack destroyed many cities and caused a vast firestorm which desolated the planet's terra-scaped surface. Few Ho'Din escaped, but one escapee was Ort Hoogra-D'En, whose rare plants he had tended on the planet were destroyed.[3]
After the devastation of Anemcoro, the world was annexed as part of Oversector Outer following the death of Emperor Palpatine. Eventually formed into the Pentastar Alignment, the world was loyal to Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo until the New Republic defeated him in 9 ABY. Floundering after the Dark Empire crisis, Admiral Gilad Pellaeon brought the world into his "True Empire". Eventually turned over to the Republic, the world was taken by the Yuuzhan Vong during their invasion of the galaxy in 27 ABY. Retaken by the Remnant following the war, it remained loyal to the Empire through the Second Galactic Civil War and the rise of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire in 137 ABY. The Fel Empire-in-Exile retained the planet after the loss of the war with the One Sith.[2]
