Anj Zavor was a Human male who lived during the Galactic Civil War, a conflict between the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire.[1] He attained the rank of colonel by 0 BBY.[2] That year, the Alliance destroyed the Empire's DS-1 Orbital Battle Station superweapon over the moon Yavin 4. Following the battle, a ceremony was held in the Grand Audience Chamber of the Great Temple, the Alliance's base on Yavin 4. Zavor was present at the ceremony, during which the Medal of Bravery was awarded to Rebel pilot Luke Skywalker, along with two other heroes of the battle, pilots Han Solo and Chewbacca. Anj Zavor had gray hair and a mustache, as well as fair skin.[1]
