Ank Kit'aar was a planet in the Ank Kit'aar system that was located within Druess sector in the Mid Rim.

HistoryEdit

Discovered circa 3,000 BBY Ank Kit'aar hosted a Human population and was a member of the Galactic Republic by the time of the New Sith Wars. Remaining loyal to the Republic during the Clone Wars, Ank Kit'aar joined the Galactic Empire upon its inception at the end of the war in 19 BBY.^[2] During the Galactic Civil War the world was the last known hiding place of Major Kerri Lessev, an Imperial turncoat who had murdered several of her fellow Imperial officers.^[3]

The world survived the Yuuzhan Vong War unscathed, though it was cut off from the rest of the galaxy during the communications outage. As of 137 ABY, the world was a member of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.^[2]

The planet Altier was created for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game Cracken's Rebel Operatives, published in 1994. It was later charted on a map of the Mid Rim in the The Essential Atlas.
