Ann and her twin sister Tann Gella were slaves owned by Sebulba. Sebulba purchased the pair at a party hosted by Jabba Desilijic Tiure. Her beauty got the attention of Podracers Teemto Pagalies and Mars Guo, but she never seemed to notice them, regardless of their efforts surrounding the Boonta Eve Classic podrace.
