Ann Nocenti (born January 17, 1957[source?]) is a journalist, writer and editor who worked in several Star Wars publications from Marvel Comics starting in 1984. After being listed as an editor of Star Wars (1977) 84 along with Louise Simonson, she became the sole editor of the next issue and continued to edit the series until its final issue in 1986. She was also the writer of Star Wars (1977) 89.

Nocenti was serving as editor when future Star Wars Dark Horse Comics writer and editor Randy Stradley wrote Star Wars (1977) 86 (1984). After this, she asked Stradley to write another story, this time involving Hoojibs. Stradley found this task to be too difficult and stopped working for Marvel.[1]

In recent years, Nocenti has worked primarily with DC Comics; her latest work was on the company's Catwoman title.
