Anni Capstan was a female Human from Corellia who served as a starfighter pilot in Rogue Squadron. She was assigned as Jaina Solo's wingmate during the early phases of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion. She flew as Rogue Twelve at the Battle of Dantooine, the Battle of Garqi, and the Battle of Ithor. She was an avid sabacc player.
Unfortunately, Anni was killed in the space above Ithor while defending the lush world from Shedao Shai's flotilla. Jaina, devastated at the loss of her first wingmate, sent word to her mother on Corellia. Anni's memory was upheld by the Jedi Knight throughout the course of the war.
Jaina Solo later named her R2-B3 astromech droid Cappie, in memory of Anni Capstan.
