Anskow was a male Human who served as a part time community cop on the planet Coruscant. In 19 BBY, Anskow and his squad managed to trap a fugitive Jedi into a cantina on Coruscant's lower levels. When one of his men lost a hand due to the Jedi's lightsaber, Anskow called in for support and Squad 40, an Imperial Commando squad from the 501st Legion, was sent to assist. The commandos managed to kill the Jedi in less than three minutes, who upon investigation turned out to be nothing more than a common thief who came into possession of a lightsaber.
