Antemeridias was the capital of the Antemeridian sector. Located in the Outer Rim Territories, it was located along the Perlemian Trade Route.

HistoryEdit

Discovered early in galactic history by the Galactic Republic, Antemeridias soon became the capital of its sector and the hub of activity due to its location on the Perlemian. During the Great Sith War, the Krath swept through the system as part of their holy war, but were ultimately beaten at Kemplex IX not long after. Joining with Darth Revan during the Jedi Civil War, the world did not join the Republic again until the defeat of the Brotherhood of Darkness and the passing of the Ruusan Reformation.^[2]

Remaining with the Republic until the Clone Wars, Antemeridias quickly seceded and joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems following the Battle of Geonosis. When the Galactic Empire arose at the end of the conflict, Antemeridias was annexed and subjugated. During the Galactic Civil War the world was a part of the Greater Maldrood until its collapse in 9 ABY. While under the control of Moff Getelles, the world was home to a facility owned by Loronar Corporation where they produced CCIR needle fighters. Contacted by Seti Ashgad in 13 ABY, Getelles was offered a way to conquer the Meridian sector. The Loronar Corporation supplied dissidents on Meridian with weapons, and Ashgad planned to release the Death Seed Plague across; the plot was foiled by the intervention of republic personnel Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa Solo and Han Solo. Halting the plague and killing Ashgad, the Republic seized the planet under the leadership of Admiral Ackbar and his two fleets. When Grand Admiral Gilad Pellaeon took the reigns of the Remnant, the world joined with the seasoned Admiral, but was conquered once more by Ackbar.^[3]

Conquered by the Yuuzhan Vong during the Yuuzhan Vong War,the world remained isolated for many years. It is not known when the planet was put back into Imperial hands but it was represented by Moff Getelles in 44 ABY. It was engulfed in Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire circa 137 ABY.^[2]
