Anti-matter pods were the main weapons of Ship. When they came in contact with a target, it instantly disintegrated. Apparently, anti-matter pods were also used to contain anti-matter used as fuel in certain hyperdrives. Once fired they cannot be stopped similar to a Turbolaser, however antimatter could be fired in pure energy form with equal firepower. Anti-matter pods were not used anywhere in the galaxy. This could perhaps be because antimatter pods were advanced for the galaxy however in theory since anti matter was a common hyperdrive fuel therefore meaning it could be as common as turbolasers and blaster cannons.
