History
Edit
When a group of disenchanted Core World entrepreneurs entered this southerly quadrant of space following the defeat of the Brotherhood of Darkness during the New Sith Wars, their technology was far ahead of the sector's natives. Conquering world after world, the seventeen houses took control of all of the habitable planets they could reach. Discovering a muddy world of shallow seas and sheer mountains, House Hax named it Antiquity and settled it as an Agriworld.[2]
With very little to do on the world aside from harvesting the teggi fungus which grew in the mudflats, many sentients avoided the world completely. Large independent from the Galactic Republic during the first half of the century after the sector's founding, the houses were given sectorial status in the Galactic Senate and represented by Senator Terr Taneel during the Clone Wars. Largely left alone during the reign of the Galactic Empire, the world did not join the New Republic and avoided the wrath of the Yuuzhan Vong while the rest of the galaxy suffered. As of 137 ABY, the planet was in the control of the Empire of Darth Krayt.[2]
