The Anxarta-class light freighter was one of the few transports produced by Sienar Fleet Systems which were available to the public. The last models of this type were produced before the height of the Galactic Empire, approximately 10 BBY, when Sienar Fleet Systems concentrated their efforts on the TIE/ln starfighter market, which was more profitable for them than selling light freighters. That is why the Anxarta was only available used in the days of the Galactic Civil War and after. One of the last produced units was the Agent, used by the Rebel Alliance Scandium Team and Gale Team.
As it was a quite popular ship within the systems around Sienar's headquarters, these ships were not easy to locate. The Anxarta light freighter was a quite suitable starship. It had a decent hyperdrive, fast sublight engines and excellent shielding for a freighter. A freighter captain could be proud and happy owning one of these ships.
