- "Anzat's dangerous for the offworlder. Those that come stay mainly at the spaceports."
- ―Jedi Master Tholme[src]
Anzat was a legendary Mid Rim world.
The planet's sky was covered in an omnipresent aurora. Early Anzati believed them to be the life forces of their ancestors, which led to the development of the concept of "soup". Anzati believed they could hear the "Silent Voices" of the aurorae in their minds.
Most of the Anzati lived on rocky mountains that jutted up from the mists: life was sustainable below the mists, but little grew there. The planet had red bamboo and twisted trees and snow in the winter.
The spaceports were on floating platforms above the mist, and were the only places offworlders were safe, so that trade could be conducted.
Tholme died on the planet, with T'ra Saa taking root over his funeral pyre.
