The Apalis Coast was a rich green flatland on Alderaan that was separated from the sea by a sheer cliff face located south of the Juran Mountains. It was the ancestral homeland of House of Organa and had the reliable source of wealth for generations ever since the noble family turned the region into a productive fertile farmland.[2]
By the Cold War, this area had been invaded by House of Thul who had failed to assault House Organa directly which led to them turning the Apalis Coast into a massive army camp. From this site, the Alderaanians of House Thul entrenched themselves and were a constant challenge for any of their rivals in the area.[2]
