Aperion was, according to Darth Plagueis, the part of the Force that included and united all matter, giving it shape and cohesion. Aspects included gravity and electromagnetism, but encompassed all space and time. Many Unifying Force abilities were tied to the aperion. The aperion was not specifically necessary for the creation and manipulation of life, but midi-chlorians channeled it nonetheless.

Behind the scenesEdit

The concept of "aperion" is a reference from the the Ancient Greek term ἄπειρον (apeiron), which meant "unlimited" or "infinite".^[1] This apeiron was central to the cosmological theory of the Greek philosopher Anaximander.
