The Aqualish thug worked along with Porg as bounty hunters. They were hired by 8t88 to hunt down Kyle Katarn on Nar Shaddaa and prevent him from obtaining his father's holodisc.
The Aqualish thug accidentally shot and killed Porg, while Porg was slugging it out with Katarn in the depths of Nar Shaddaa's sewer systems. Shocked at having killed his own friend, he thus hesitated for a moment which was more than enough for Katarn to shoot him right in the face. The thug died instantly.
