Aracara was a swampy planet, location of the Aracara Testing Facility, a weapons laboratory abandoned and taken over by the Rebel Alliance as outpost DVL-181, nicknamed the "Quagmire." DVL-181 served as a staging area for the X-wings of Silverblade Squadron. The planet was the slime-bug homeworld.
