An archaeotech techno-totem on Skako Minor
Archaeotech was a term used by the time of the Galactic Civil War to describe ancient technology. According to the rogue archaeologist Chelli Lona Aphra, archaeotech was almost always protected by traps. Examples of archaeotech were the techno-totem dating back to the Hundred-Year Darkness,[1] along with the traps located in a temple on X3-299-11.[2]
