Archiban Kimble, better known by the nickname of Doc, was a medtech driven to bring quality health care to under-served star systems. This had led Doc to kept some unusual company: pathosis-riddled crime lord Fashaka Four-Toes, the Red Band Rebels of Cadinth and even the Imperial military during a brief stint impersonating a member of the Imperial Medical Corps on the conquered planet Sullust. He also had a relationship with Kaliyo Djannis, referring to it as one of the best afternoons he ever spent, and also with a Twi'lek called Prudy, who he abandoned before their marriage.

Doc had a talent for using bad people to save good lives—a fact he emphasized to anyone within earshot. Some characterized Doc as a blowhard and scoundrel, but these individuals had never required his impressive surgical skills. Doc had visited every major galactic battleground over the past five years and saved more lives than even he could count.

Archiban Kimble is a companion character for the Jedi Knight class of Star Wars: The Old Republic.^[1] He can be romanced by the female Knight and can eventually marry.
