[edit] Biography
[edit] Early life and sleep
Arden was born thousands of years before the Battle of Yavin, and was the lover of Xendor.
She was taught the art of Teräs Käsi on the planet Bunduki by the ancient Followers of Palawa hermits; she became a Palawan warrior and her skill in it was unmatched.
She fought during the Great Schism, leading the Legions of Lettow after her lover's death.
She killed Awdrysta Pina through her use of the Kashi Mer talisman, who, before dying, used morichro to stop Arden's heart. Arden then was induced to a mystic sleep for millennia.
[edit] Re-awakening
During the Galactic Civil War, Lyn was accidentally awakened by a band of heroes and ran afoul of the Imperial Inquisitors. During a battle with Inquisitors Antinnis Tremayne, Ameesa Darys and Grand Inquisitor Laddinare Torbin, she killed Darys and injured Tremayne before Torbin cleaved off her arm.
Her skill attracted the attention of the Emperor and Darth Vader, and she became one of the Emperor's Hands, with a new mechanical arm from a Juggernaut war droid to compensate for her loss. She also helped train Imperial Sovereign Protectors and Byss Mages. The Emperor would give her the mission of eliminating the leaders of the Rebel Alliance and capturing the Jedi, Luke Skywalker.
She failed in her mission and would later betray the Emperor and Lord Vader by joining up with Grand Admiral Demetrius Zaarin. In the attempted coup, Arden tried to kidnap the Emperor. Zaarin's rebellion was put down by Grand Admiral Thrawn, who destroyed him and his ship.
Zaarin was killed during a later incident, and Lyn reappeared later on Bunduki, apparently trying to settle some old scores with the Palawa monks, where she found Dark Jedi Yun. The outcome of this encounter is unknown, but Lyn was eventually killed by the resurrected Emperor.
[edit] Behind the scenes
Arden Lyn was voiced by Edie Mirman. Hasbro considered an action figure release of the character around 1998 but she was deemed too obscure for the toy line at the time.
