The Ardroxia system was a star system that was located in the Halla sector, within the galactic regions known as the Mid Rim[1] and the Slice.[2] The system was the origin point of the Ardroxian Flu.[3][4]

Behind the scenesEdit

The Ardroxia system was established in The Essential Atlas Online Companion, which placed the system in grid square R-9.[1]

The Essential Atlas depicts territory falling in that grid square as being located in either the Hutt Space or the Slice regions of the galaxy. Since The Essential Atlas Online Companion also establishes the Ardroxia system is located within the Mid Rim (as opposed to Hutt Space), it therefore must also be part of the Slice.

Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Ardroxian Flu in relation to the Ardroxia system.
