The Arkanian dragon was an avian reptile native to Arkania. They were intelligent enough to be semi-sentient. They were known for their lightning-fast strikes, which Master Arca Jeth used to instruct his students, Ulic and Cay Qel-Droma, and Tott Doneeta in the ways of lightsaber fencing. The dragon could fly up to 3,000 meters at speeds of 140 kilometers per hour, and possessed hardened scales, capable of reflecting vibroblades, as well as the ability to spew fire from their mouths. They eventually died off for reasons unknown, apparently at some point after 4000 BBY, although there have been rumors of sightings throughout Arkania.
