Arly Bron was a stocky, aging smuggler with a genial air and sharp tongue who frequented the Corellian Sector. He piloted the Double Echo and served as one of the atmosphere guides during the Battle of Ylesia.

He was named after writer R. Lee Brown, founder and original editor of Echo Station, the original Star Wars online e-mag (itself the source of Bron's ship the Double Echo).
