The Armored Interface Craft-4 (AIC-4) was a medium-sized dropship used by the Galactic Empire and produced by Sonda Armament.

CharacteristicsEdit

AIC-4s were designed to fit into the hangar of a Star Destroyer and transport troops to the surface of a planet. It was equipped to defend itself against both ground-based attacks and fighter attacks while dropping troops to the surface, and was often used when there was suspicion that dropping could potentially be dangerous. Normally it would clear the landing area first with its heavy blasters, and would immediately take off into orbit to get more troops when the first batch had landed.
