"Usual Arterial Blocker, Sergeant Kal? Extra egg?"
Soronna and Kal Skirata[src]

The "Arterial Blocker" was the name of a greasy breakfast dish served at the Kragget restaurant on Coruscant,[1] the capital world of the Galactic Republic.[2] The Arterial Blocker included fried eggs and smoked nerf slices.[3] The dish became a favorite of the Grand Army of the Republic military contractor Kal Skirata, a regular customer of the Kragget during the Clone Wars.[1] The Kragget's Twi'lek waitress, Soronna,[4] knew the Arterial Blocker was a usual order of Skirata's, who preferred to order an extra egg with the meal.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

The Arterial Blocker first appeared, unnamed, in the Republic Commando novel Triple Zero, written by author Karen Traviss and published February 28, 2006.[3] Triple Zero's sequel, True Colors, introduced the Arterial Blocker name to Star Wars canon when it was published on October 30, 2007.[1]
