The Artom system, originally known as the Reidi Artom I system, was a star system located in the Expansion Region within the galaxy.
History
The Artom system was the first system discovered by Reidi Artom and was initially named the Reidi Artom I system. Systems she discovered later were named in similar fashion (Reidi Artom II, III, IV, V, and VI). All of these systems were eventually renamed with local or ancient names, such as Cularin, but Artom retained its discoverer's name. The discovery of this system was not particularly profitable for its discoverer.[2]
