Ashkas-kov was a planet, probably in Shelsha Sector. It was situated along a minor trade hyperroute.
At one time, Ashkas-kov was the setting of a raid staged by the BloodScar pirates. In this episode, the BloodScars attacked an entire convoy with ten of their own ships, even blowing up the four ships they were primarily targeting after stripping them of goods. Casement, an undercover Rebel Alliance agent, was a survivor of the raid.
