Ashley Eckstein (born Maria Ashley Drane on September 22, 1981) is the voice actress who portrayed Ahsoka Tano in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars film and television series from 2008 to 2013. She reprised the role in Star Wars Rebels beginning in 2015, and also narrated the audiobook edition of the novel Ahsoka, which focuses on the character.
Biography
Early life
Although born in Louisville, Kentucky, she was raised in Orlando, Florida by her parents Tony Drane and Sharon Drane along with her three siblings (Michael, Tara and Taylor). She started acting at age twelve, appearing as Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker.
Personal life
On February 4, 2005, she became engaged to St. Louis Cardinals player David Eckstein. The couple were married on November 26, 2005 at a family church.
Career
Eckstein was first rumored to be voicing her character in early 2008, and was confirmed later that year.[2][3]
Some of Eckstein's other work includes That's So Raven, Drake & Josh, Blue Collar TV, The Brady Bunch in the White House, and Joe Nussbaum's Sydney White.
She has also started a company known as Her Universe specializing in nerd fashion for girls and women.
