The Assault of the Aturi Cluster was a battle fought during the Galactic Civil War resulting in a defeat for Alliance to Restore the Republic forces by the Scimitar assault wing.

HistoryEdit

The Aturi Cluster had possessed a notable Rebel presence, large enough that it warranted a full-scale assault by the Imperial Navy. The Rebels had set up powerful system of anti-atmospheric defenses however, which forced the Assault Wing to come up with and utilize a new tactic developed by Captain Tomax Bren. Dubbed the "vertical swoop", this maneuver proved very useful against the network of ground-based defenses.
