Atale was a red-colored moon that orbited the planet Empress Teta in the Empress Teta system. Like the rest of its star system, it was situated in the Koros sector, a part of the Deep Core[1] and the Interior regions,[2] and was located in the grid square L-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[3] The Empress Teta system, and therefore also Atale, was situated on the hyperspace routes known as the Byss Run, the Carbonite Run, and the Koros Trunk Line. Atale was used by the Mining Guild as the main production site of andris spice.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Atale was introduced in the current Star Wars canon in the 2016 Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars: Force and Destiny sourcebook Nexus of Power.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the red moon of Empress Teta appeared in the fifth issue of the Dark Lords of the Sith story arc in Dark Horse Comics' Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi comic-book series.[4] The issue was published on February 14, 1995,[5] written by Tom Veitch and Kevin J. Anderson, and penciled by Chris Gossett.[4]
