Atgar SpaceDefense Corporation were a weapons manufacturing company who made the 1.4 FD P-Tower, a fixed emplacement anti-vehicle laser cannon. The tower was quick and easy to produce and was used by the Alliance to Restore the Republic on the planet Hoth during the Battle of Hoth in the Galactic Civil War.[1]
Behind the scenes
Atgar SpaceDefense Corporation was first mentioned in the Imperial Sourcebook by Greg Gorden which was released in 1989 as a supplement for the Star Wars Legends Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game produced by West End Games. The company were confirmed to be canon by the reference book Ultimate Star Wars, which was released in 2015.
