Atoa was a little-known ice planet in the Atoan system, in the Ghost Nebula. It was the homeworld of the near-human Atoans.

HistoryEdit

A major campaign for the Imperials took place at the planet shortly after the creation of the Galactic Empire. The planet was attacked by Darth Vader and the 501st Legion who had been led to believe that they were responsible for the disappearance of Admiral Garoche Tarkin. In actuality, he had defected to Lady Saro, High Priestess of Atoa, one of the rulers of the system.
