The father of Aven Geth was a Human male who was a prominent officer in the Imperial Army of the Sith Empire. He and his wife were angered by their son's choice to join the Imperial Navy as a shield technician rather than join the Imperial Army, and so they used their influence to have their son discharged. Despite his parents' cruelty, Geth continued to serve the Empire, offering his services to any Imperial-aligned crew that would have him.
