An axe was a type of melee weapon of ancient design. A weapon of this type was used by Lirondo during the Seventh Battle of Ruusan. The blades on each side of his axe were extremely sharp and could deal considerable damage to opponents. The legendary Sith King Adas, who lived before the invention of the lightsaber, also used a battle axe as his primary weapon. The Ewok woodcutter, Chukha-Trok, was well-known for using his axe as both a tool and a weapon for taking down his enemies. The Axe is also a main weapon of the Gammoreans.
