The Azaria 66 was a product created by Alkherrodyne Propulsions, with Klaus "Doc" Vandangante as design systems team leader. Though Vandangante was conscientious, Alkherrodyne in general was rife with shoddy workmanship, covered with flashy marketing, and the Azaria 66 was no exception.^[1] Vandangante warned the company that the product wasn't safe, but they released it anyway.^[2] When it began exploding in minor accidents, Alkherrodyne's slicers framed Doc. The countless lawsuits wiped out the Vandangante family fortune, and left his name slandered.^[1]
