The B-5 Decimus was a model of bomber produced by the shipyards at the planet Sernpidal for the Sith Empire, and was named after its commissioner, the Sith Lord Darth Decimus. The B-5 Decimus, which was armed with heavy laser cannons, either missile or torpedoes as secondaries, and various mines and drones as options for its auxiliary weapons, was banned by the Treaty of Coruscant for its frequent use by the Empire against civilian populations in the Great Galactic War, though it saw use again in the Galactic War.[1]

Behind the scenes

The B-5 Decimus is one of the four bomber models available to Imperial players in Star Wars: The Old Republic: Galactic Starfighter, a 2013 Digital Expansion to the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. It costs 5,000 Fleet Requisition to unlock, and is the Imperial faction's balanced bomber, with the Sledgehammer as its Republic counterpart. The bomber's description presents an inconsistency; it claims that the B-5 was banned and that the new B-6 Decimus design is the one that players can access, but the ship itself is still named the B-5.[1]
