BAS Customs, a subsidiary of the Bank of Aargau Security, Ltd., was responsible for ensuring people, imports, and exports that traveled through Aargau were legal and complied with laws and regulations of Aargau. All personnel entering and leaving Aargau had to go through Customs and be scanned by the BAS44 Customs-Grade Holoscanner. BAS served one purpose above all others: to enforce the Statutes of Aargau. And while all divisions did their best to ensure that those who violated the sacred laws received swift, deadly punishment, the men and women of BAS Customs dealt most often with attempts to skirt the first and second laws.

One of the main checkpoints was Planetary Customs Security Checkpoint LH48.

Some Customs officers included Captain Smalyun and Sergeant Rolex.
