BCA-11/X lightsaber practice droid, also known as BCA-11/X training droid, was a droid model produced by Baktoid Combat Automata before the Battle of Naboo as a training droid for the Jedi Order. The cortosis matrix in the bonding of the droid's quadanium armor allowed it to resist the lightsaber and made it harder to destroy. Equipped with blaster carbines, this droids were used in the Jedi Temple to test the skills of Master-Padawan teams. Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi were pitted against such droids shortly before the Clone Wars. During the test, Anakin scoffed at the droids, betraying his overconfidence.
