[edit] History

"We're hit! We're going down!"
―General Kenobi to Commander Cody[src]

Around 22 BBY,[5] Bad Kitty served as Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi's personal gunship during the Second Battle of Geonosis.[7] It was shot down by Separatist forces during the early stages of the battle. It crashed near the designated landing coordinates at Point Rain and was heavily damaged, with one of its wings snapping off during the crash. Of all individuals on board, only General Kenobi and Trapper survived. They were rescued from the downed craft by Waxer and Boil.[6]

[edit] Behind the scenes

Bad Kitty's only appearance has been in "Landing at Point Rain", the fifth episode in Season Two of The Clone Wars television series.[6]

The impostor Bad Kitty

In "Landing at Point Rain", a gunship with identical nose markings can be seen dropping off Ki-Adi-Mundi after the shield generator is destroyed. As Bad Kitty was very clearly not flight-worthy after crashing, one of its wings having snapped off, it is unclear if this was meant to be a sister gunship with identical markings, if Bad Kitty was somehow repaired and put back into action, or if the design team for the episode made an error using the same modeling skin later in the episode.[6]

"Bad Kitty" was the nickname given to the nexu seen in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones by the ILM animation team during production of the film.[7]
