Badji was a pirate working for Captain Andel in the Shelsha sector. A short time after the Battle of Yavin, Andel's group attempted to pirate a freighter in the space in Purnham system. However, they were stopped by the Hand of Judgment with help from Millennium Falcon. Badji was captured. Korlo Brightwater questioned him about the BloodScar pirate, Caaldra, but he was unable to answer all of Brightwater's questions.
