The planet Moorja featured a region of badlands among its surface terrain. This region included the Crumbling Lands. During the Clone Wars, elements of the Confederacy of Independent Systems harvested an electrostatic soil compound with photoreactive properties to use as a strategic weapon against the Galactic Republic.
