The Bakuran power station was located atop a dormant volcano in the mountains of Bakura.^[1]

In 14 ABY it was occupied by Imperial Remnant forces who sought to sabotage it by setting off explosive charges. The Imperials damaged the power plant during the initial takeover and also set up defensive autoturrets and E-Webs. Jedi apprentice Jaden Korr managed to infiltrate the station and stop its destruction while also encountering a powerplant droid.^[1]
