"I smell a Baldavian pocket hare." - ―Danni Quee and Yomin Carr
Baldavian pocket hare was a species of skittish creatures. Due to its skittish nature, cowardly individuals and acts were sometimes compared to them.[1]
As a colloquialism, comparisons to Baldavian pockets hares as a symbol of cowardice were in use[2] in 0 ABY,[3] when the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure compared the Trandoshan bounty hunter Bossk to one.[2] This comparison was still used[1] in 25 ABY,[3] when the Extragalactic Society scientist Danni Quee jokingly likened her colleague Yomin Carr, who was secretly a Yuuzhan Vong saboteur, to a Baldavian pocket hare for declining to join an investigatory expedition to the planet Helska IV. Around the same time, the young Jedi Anakin Solo suggested his father, Han Solo, was "too pocket hare" when he balked at flying the Asteroid belt Lando's Folly on the grounds that he was too old and sore.[1]
