Balinquar's Virus was a fictitious disease that supposedly affected male Arkanian offshoots when they reached old age, caused paranoia, and could be deadly. Arkoh Adasca claimed that Camper was infected with it, but, later, in private conversation with Antos Wyrick, masquerading as Rohlan Dyre, it was revealed to be a ruse designed to separate Camper from Jarael.
