Around 21 BBY,^[2] a civil war took place on the^[1] Inner Rim^[3] planet Balith in the midst of the Clone Wars,^[1] which transformed the planet into a war-torn world.^[4] When the Galactic Republic's assistance in the large-scale conflict was requested, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, Clone Captain CT-7567^[1] and the clone trooper unit Torrent Company^[4] were dispatched by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi to Balith with the Grand Army of the Republic's Third Legion.^[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

The civil war was first mentioned in "Assassin," the seventh episode of the the third season of The Clone Wars TV series. The episode aired on October 22, 2010.^[5] The civil war was once again mentioned in the 2011 reference guide Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Incredible Vehicles.^[4]
